5 Grain Almond Maple Cookies

Posted by Sweeter side of life at 11:12:00

This cookies are so light and flavourful. It's so easy to make, i'm sure you'll fall in love with this recipe. In addition, they are pretty low in fat, whole grain and not too sweet :D

You can use different cookie cutters, i just used a fluted 5 cm in diameter cutter.

*Preheat oven to 160C

50g Plain flour
50g Ground Almonds
50g 5 Grain flour
1/8 Tsp Baking Powder
55g Maple Syrup
25g Canola Oil
Pinch of sea salt

Mix the dry ingredients together

Mix the wet ingredients together along with the salt

Rub in dry mixture into the wet mixture to form a dough*

Roll out and cut with cutter

Bake at 160C for 15 Minutes

These would go perfectly with a nice hot cup of tea. Love the fact that they are wholemeal and low fat!
